Commissioning a Pet Portrait

I work from photographs so you will need to provide me with a clear photo which shows a good likeness of your pet. If distance prevents a personal meeting then I would welcome a selection of photos as they will allow me to assess personality and character and help me to produce a really accurate likeness. However, your pet portrait will be based on only one of the photographs as decided by you. Photographs can either be emailed to me or sent by post. All photographs sent by mail will be returned. Note: If you are using photographs taken by a third party, e.g. a professional photographer, then the copyright of the photograph will be held by them and permission to use it will be required).

Get in touch with me by using the 'Contact Me' and we can then have a chat about your pet portrait requirements (medium, size, layout, cost etc). I will then send you a digital mock-up of the portrait to give you some idea of what it will look like finished. To proceed with the commission I will require a firm order from you together with a 10% deposit of the total cost.

On completion you will receive a printed copy or email attachment of the pet portrait for final approval and alterations, if required, which will be free of charge.

You will be under no obligation whatsoever to accept the final painting if you are not happy with it.
